The TOKN KB16 is a commercial keyboard controller that is ideal for PC based products and applications such as multi-arcade (MAMETM) controllers and electronic casino game machines.
You can customize your application through the addition of external hardware controls including pushbutton switches, joysticks, coin doors, and more. Because the TOKN KB16 works either stand-alone or pass-through, it can work in conjunction with--or fully replace--the keyboard as the user interface for your application.
The TOKN KB16 provides a more simplified interface than a keyboard and helps restrict user input to a defined set of key presses. The boards can also be chained together in series to provide a virtually unlimited number of inputs.
